High Schools with Forensic Programs

It's exciting!   High schools are already catching on!  The importance of the forensic sciences can serve the purposes for educating students about science in general.  There has been great difficulties over the recent decades in the ability to interest students in the sciences.  Science has recently found a resurgence of interest due to the fascination with forensics.  High schools are looking to fighting crime with science as an ability to teach kids about chemistry, biology, physics, and other physical sciences.  Below are some forward thinking high schools with forensic science programs.  If you live in their school district - consider yourself lucky.  If not, don't fret.  Use these schools and this website to help you encourage your school to think about adding a forensic science program.

Check out the following schools:

Milwaukee Lutheran High School : MLHS has an introduction to forensic science course. This link goes to the course syllabus.  This school is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Rowan-Salisbury High Schools :  Catawba College, located in Salisbury, North Carolina, is offering a forensics science analysis laboratory course for local Rowan-Salisbury high schools.  This is a link to the Catawba College website.

Staples High School : Staples High School is in Westport, Connecticut.  They have an extensive website dedicated to their forensic science program.  Check it out.

Staten Island Technical High School : SI TECH is located in New York.  It offers a thorough forensic science course. 

Susquehanna Township High School : This high school is in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Another great high school webpage.
